Toyota Repair: 95 toyota 4runner 3.0L, toyota 4runner, head gaskets

Question
QUESTION: my #6 cylinder isnt hitting i replaced the spark plugs, wires, cap, and rotor. im wondering if it sounds like i may have a bad injector

ANSWER: Bad injectors are uncommon for Toyotas. How many miles are on it? Did you ever have the head gaskets replaced as a part of the Toyota service campaign?

My first guess would be a mechanical problem ex: broken head gasket.

QUESTION: there are no signs of coolant being leaked any where and the plug looks like it is burning clean and you were right about the injector it is not bad and the misfiring on #6 cylinder still remains and thinking one of the valves maybe stuck or bad

Answer
Hi there,

I would recommend that you have a local shop "probe" the cylinder with a scope to further diagnose the problem if they contain the technology. The scope will tell you if there are carbon deposits, burned or bent valves that is causing your compression loss.
