Toyota Repair: 1995 Celica AC, cold air intake, pcv valve

Question
I have a 95 toyota celica and whenever I turn on the air conditioning the car bogs down to the point it will die unless I hurry and turn it off. It also makes a loud Whooo air kind of sound or humming but once I shut the Ac off it continues until I rev the gas. Any idea what that could be? I also think my PVC hose that runs from the cold air intake I have is not hooked up. Would that cause that or any idea whats goin on? thanx

Answer
If there is a hose that is disconnected there may be a vacuum leak which can cause driveability problems, the pcv valve is located on top of the valve cover is this the hose? If this is the hose that's not connected the engine would not idle, is this the case?
