Toyota Repair: 1997 Camry efi fuse, efi, power surge

Question
Recently replaced the head on 97 Camry,4 cylinder, 2.2 liter & now the efi fuse keeps blowing. I have double checked all wires & everything I know to. The car runs fine sitting still but as soon as you start down the road the efi fuse blows again. I need any suggestions you can have.

Answer
There's something causing a short in the EFI circuit. It could be oil, or other kind of wetness that's causing it to short on an EFI wire possibly. A fuse will blow for two reasons: 1. too much power surge entering the system, 2. a short or bad ground. You may think that you double checked the wiring, but did you trace the circuit with a wiring diagram? When you accelerate the car, you allow more voltage to enter the system, thus causing the fuse to blow. I suspect that there's a short in the wiring.
