Toyota Repair: toyota sienna, 1999, wd 40, toyota sienna

The trunk of the sienna got stuck/jammed? I have no idea why it happened so suddenly. I wonder if there is any locks maybe that I may not know about? I basically cannot open the trunk anymore, if you can help me with this regarding what may have went wrong, that would be great. Thank you so much for your time.

This happens sometimes with vans and SUV's. If the key won't release
it and the inside handle is not working then someone has to crawl
in the back and remove the inside panel to get at the mechanism and
carefully pry with a screwdriver, spraying with WD-40 will help too.
