Toyota Repair: 95 Camry 4cyl HVAC, service intervals, recommended service

Question
Hello,
My A/C blows cold & is working fine, I just have a maintenance related question about it.  I had an LOF done at a local Jiffy Lube and they recommended recharging the A/C system.  I declined the service since I'm not experiencing any problems. Their position was that it's recommended every two years, although I don't remember seeing that mentioned in the owner's manual (I may've missed it if it is recommended).  They also said it's cheaper to do it now as it would require less freon than to hold off until a problem develops.  So, I'd appreciate a second opinion; should I get this done as preventative maintenance, or leave it as is unless or until a problem comes up?  Thank you in advance for any insight you can give me.

Answer
Don't waste your money, toyota has no recommended service intervals for a/c systems. There is no need to add freon, the correct way would be to remove all the freon and applying vacuum and then putting in the required amount, that's the only way to know how much freon was in the system, just adding freon may overcharge the system and cause a/c problems.
