Toyota Repair: 1998 Landcruiser Antenna mast replacement, antenna mast, antenna assembly

How do I get the old antenna mast and vinyl cord out and install a new one.  I
can remove the mast but not sure how to remove the vinyl cord.

Answer
The inner fender liner has to be removed, then the antenna assembly removed, the antenna lead can not be disconnected from the antenna motor so the antenna motor has to be disassembled under the fender, once the antenna has been opened the broken pieces of the mast can be removed then reassembled and reinstalled, the antenna mast can then be fed into the motor through the opening of the antenna by turning the radio from the on position to the off position which will draw it into the motor.
