Toyota Repair: 93 corolla dx wont turn over, corolla dx, battery clamps


Question
this corolla I have has recently been draining the battery.Today my wife went to crank it,but it would'nt even turn over.The battery had agood charge on it.I even tried to jump it but it still wouldn't turn over.I was wondering maybe it could be the starter?

 I'm assuming you have a decent battery.
Are the battery cables clean and tight?(try rotating the battery clamps on the post). Use a battery charger to fully charge the
battery, make sure the positive cable of the car is disconnected.
when the battery is fully charged unhook the battery charger and
lightly touch the car positive cable to the positive post, look for spark, a real tiny spark is normal if clock in car. Larger spark means
something draining battery. Now hook up cable and tighten it.
Try starting car. If it turns over good and starts something is draining battery. While the car is running check the output of the
alternator by attaching a volt meter(multi-meter) across the battery
posts, it should show above 13.4 volts, that means the alternator
is working ok.
