Toyota Repair: 2002 Camry, alarm button, toyota dealer

Question
My moms car wouldn't do anything after she came out of a store, I had her try the power windows, lights, doors, etc and nothing would work. I changed her battery and as soon as I had both cables hooked up the horn came on and would not shut off (solid tone) I tried the key fob and to start the car but nothing works. I cycled the ignition switch in an attempt to reset the error but still nothing. Any suggestions??

Sounds like the security system shut down the car.
Does it have a keyless entry with an alarm button on it?
Do you have the owners manuel? If not call a local
Toyota dealer( they will want the VIN number) and
they will tell you how to reset the system.
