Toyota Repair: Dont have running lights..., illumination lights, fuse panel

Question
QUESTION: My brake lights, turn signals and headlights all work. The front and rear Running lights do not.Where is the running lights relay for a '99 Toyota camry LE?

ANSWER: It's probably not the relay, have you checked the fuse marked "tail" on the inside fuse panel? If the fuses are good then the tailight relay in the trunk may be the problem, it's located on the left side under the carpet behind the fender mounted to a metal brace.

QUESTION: I've looked in the trunk, under the carpet. It's all metal. No relay to be found.I've checked all the fuses, and relaced all tail light bulbs. In the trunk all I find is the floor(under the carpet.) no relay to be found.I'm at my wits end. What am I to do? Thank you.

Answer
Look for the relay on the left side where the rear fender is inside the trunk, remove the side carpet, there is a metal brace that the relay is attached to, from the inside of the brace so it's not easy to see it, is the TAIL fuse OK? Do the dash illumination lights turn on when the headlights are on?
