Toyota Repair: Attempted theft, alarm security systems, attempted theft

Our 04 Highlander passenger window was busted out in an apparent attempt to steal the vehicle. 1. How much generally will it cost  and 2. can we get a dealer to install a security system.

It will cost about $300 parts and labor to have the window glass replaced, yes, the dealer can have a security system installed, it will be an aftermarket system, most of them work very well. You could also contact an outside installer of alarm/security systems yourself it may save some money. The factory theft deterrent systems are installed at the factory and are not available as an add on so the aftermarket system is the only option.
