Toyota Repair: !995 Toyota corolla stutters when taking off from a stop., tuneup work, toyota corolla

Question
What could be the cause of my 1995 Toyota corolla 1.6 ltr. to stutter when accelerating from a stop?
Previously to this problem, I got a service soon light and the code was for an exhaust leak problem (I believe it was 25). I found that my exhaust manifold was cracked. I replaced the manifold and O2 sensor.
I still had the stutter once the car warmed up, but now it is constant and continues longer then just accelerating from stop. I tried to see if there was any kind of fault codes by jumping TE1 and E1. The only thing I get is a constant flashing of the service engine soon light

It doesn't sound like there are any trouble codes there. has anything else been done recently any tuneup work? It may just be in need of a tune up which should include spark plugs, the cables, distributor cap and rotor and a fuel and air filter, it sounds like a breakdown of something in the high tension area if the ignition system, another thing to check is gor a cracked ignition coil, I think it's inside the distributor on this model.
