Toyota Repair: Front Passenger Seat Corolla 2004 1.6 Auto 3 Door, control levers, control cables

I need advice on how to repair the 'tilt/slide' mechanism on the front passenger seat of my Corolla.When I lift the lever on the side of the backrest,to allow access to the rear seats,the seat section will not slide forward anymore,and stays locked in position.

The seat should be removed for inspection, there are some control cables under the seat, it sounds like the one for the seat release may have come off or is broken, just a basic inspection of the bottom of the seat to see if any of the cables are off the control levers.
