Toyota Repair: car repair, connecting rod bearing, toyota camry

Question
i have a 1999 Toyota Camry (2.2L EFI DOHC). and i went to thedealer to changemy spark plugsand when they finished they said that my rod barings were messed up and thatmy car will only last a few month. do you think when theywere changing my spark plugs they probably messed up the rods. also were are the rod barings locatedat and theynear the spark plugs?

Answer
Connecting rod bearing failure is normally associated with some noise, does the engine make unusual noise? The bearings are on the lower end of the engine not near the spark plugs, I have no idea why they told you what they did unless they noticed some knocking noise from the engine.
