Question
While replacing the knock sensor, my wrench accidentlly came in contact with the hot wire on the starter and the ground wire on the block, and it sparked.now the truck has no electrical at all,no lights no radio, nothing. We check the fuses in the fuse block, they were not blown We check the battery cleaned the terminals and cleaned them afterwords the headlight would come on but when we tried to start it something made a loud click and now nothing works again. This my sons truck and I screwed it up!Yes I should have disconected the battery. So any help in trying to figure out this problem would be Greatly appreciated.Thank You Mike

Answer
In the fuse panel under the hood check to see if the 80Amp alternator fuse is OK, this fuse is much larger than the rest of them, if it's out it needs to be replaced, the only problem is that it's bolted in inside the fuse panel, it has to be removed and taken apart to get to the bolts.
