Toyota Repair: clutch problem, clutch master cylinder, clutch pedal

Question
I have a 99 tacoma 4x4 100,000 miles runs very good. With every shift the clutch pedal gets closer to the floor until its all the way down and won't shift anymore. I have to reach down and pull the clutch up with my hand or foot. the problem seem to get worse when it's cold outside.
Can you help with my problem

Answer
There may be a hydraulic fluid leak at either the clutch master cylinder or the slave cylinder on the transmission, check under the dash to see if there is fluid leaking from the rear of the clutch master cylinder, if there are no external leaks the master cylinder may have may have an internal leak, in most cases both hydraulic cylinders should be replaced and the clutch flex hose on the right side near the firewall should also be checked they are known to leak.
