Hi, I have a 4dr Toyota Tacoma Prerunner V6, its an 05 so it isn't that old and the ac has stopped throwing cold air.  After a minute or two the ac button will begin to start flashing.  On the first time we went to Kragen Auto Parts and bought some freon to fill it up and it was throwing cold air again but only like a month later it ran out and again the ac button kept flashing.  I know it should last a lot longer, what can be wrong?

It's very simple, there is a leak in the system, a common source for the leak is at the condensor connections for the high pressure lines, the condensor is located in front of the radiator, check the a/c lines and connections for signs of leaking, if there is a leak there will be oily looking deposits, also check the condensor for any foreign object damage.
