Toyota Repair: 1998 Toyota Camry -sudden cut off, air control valve, toyota camry

Question
I have a 1998 Toyota Camry. It runs well but at times it would stall when I reduce speed to stop at a traffic light.
It may not occur for weeks and then suddenly it would occur.

Answer
Just about all intermittent idle problems are caused by the idle air control valve, it's located on the intake throttle body, the t/body has to be removed, replacing the IAC valve and cleaning all the carbon deposits out of the inside of the throttle body normally solves this problem.
