Toyota Repair: 1994 toyota corolla, toyota corolla, speedometer

i have a 1994 Toyota corolla 1.6L fi. i had to change the transmission. the engine ran fine before the work was done. however it will not start now, we have narrow the problem to the fuel injectors not getting any current. we start the car by putting fuel down a vacuum port. the original tranny had electrical speedometer setup the replacement has manual setup. the electrical wiring from the dashboard is just hanging.

I don't think this is going to work because of the fact that the original transmission was different as far as the speedometer was configured, the computer is missing some input signals because of the disconnected wires and will not turn the injectors on.
