Toyota Repair: 2001 Solara Convertible, side marker, turn signals

Question
Hi:  Am having problems with the tail lights of this car (brake lights, flashers and turn signals all work); attempted to replace the fuse (it was blown) and as soon as I did the new fuse blew also.  car has about 85,000 miles; nothing has been done to the car in the past 3 months (and then it was replacement of the tires).  Car was in an accident and most of the drivers front side was replaced (this was 5 years ago).  Any ideas?

Answer
The tail lights, parking lights front and rear as well as the dash illumination bulbs are all on that same fuse, try doing this: remove all the bulbs from the rear and all the bulbs from the parking lights and the side marker lights the reinstall a fuse and see if it stays intact, if it does then one by one reinstall the bulbs, the bulb that causes the fuse to blow is the circuit that has the problem and it's probably an incorrect bulb, check to see that the contacts match the sockets, or a short circuit to ground in that wiring. If the fuse blows with all bubs removed the the problem is in the wiring or on the inside lighting system, let me know what you find.
