Toyota Repair: 88 Toyota Truck will not start, positive cable, battery connections

Question
I have an 88 toyota truck with 200K.  Generally runs well.  I cannot get it to start.  I thought it was the battery and replaced it.  It will not turn over at all, just one click then nothing when I turn the key.  The electric is working fine.  Starter?  If so, any guidance for replacement is appreciated.

Thanks

Answer
It sounds like the starter is the problem, make sure that the battery connections are good, if it's a 4 cylinder engine it's not so hard to replace, diconnect the battery then disconnect the large positive cable at the starter and then the small connector on the solenoid, the starter is held on to the bellhousing on the engine side just under the intake manifold, there are two 14mm fasteners, on top is a nut and on the bottom is a 14mm bolt, both facing towards the front. If it's a V-6 and 4x4 let me know.
