Toyota Repair: 89 Motorhome wont start, fuel pressure gauge, plenum chamber

Question
QUESTION: 90000 miles, 3.0 V6 EFI. Its been sitting awhile, I start it up and let it run for 10-15 mins about once a month. Checked for spark, it's OK. Replaced fuel filter. Checked timing belt, rotor is turning while cranking. Could it be anything other than fuel pump?

ANSWER: I would recommend connecting a fuel pressure gauge to see what the actual fuel pressure is before replacing anything.

QUESTION: Thanks Ted,
Where do I connect the fuel pressure gauge and how much pressure am I looking for?

Answer
You can connect to the banjo fitting on the cold start injector, it depends what kind of pressure gauge and what fittings it has, it's the easiest connection to get to, the cold start injector is located on the right side of the intake plenum chamber, it has a 12mm banjo type fitting, it should have about 35psi while cranking the engine and while running.
