Toyota Repair: check engine light, air fuel ratio, autoparts store

Ted,
   I have a 2001 4runner and when I first accelerate it hesitates...then this morning the engine light came on..as well as the tsc off light. I ran the autozone code reader and it says P1135 but I am nowhere near a dealer.  Can you tell me what the problem may be and if I am able to fix it without taking it to a dealer?

This code indicates an air/fuel ratio sensor malfunction, it is located just ahead of the catalityc converter, it should be replaced, if you get one from an autoparts store make sure it has the electrical connector on it, some aftermarket sensors come with no connector and they have to be spliced into the existing wires.
