Toyota Repair: Toyota Corolla S - 2007 - Driveshaft vibration, weird paul, toyota corolla

Question
I just had my front brakes replaced along with another set of front tires after the right side of the right tire wore excessively. (total loss after 8900 miles) The repair place I took it, said the alignment was dead on, and replaced the tires for free, then after the brake job, that discovered the car was making a metal on metal noise when making right turns (which it wasnt making before repairs), and proposed that the left driveshaft was bouncing / vibrating and somehow misaligned smacking against the backing plate of the wheel during a right turn & causing the tire wear on the right side, because of the increased load it had to endure.  They suggested having Toyota inspect & replace the driveshaft, which is a common problem on the make & model car & since its still under its drivetrain warranty.
Does this sound at all legitamite?  the front in now shakes at 70+ mph, and theres a strong metal grinding sound when making tight right turns.

Answer
Hi Brian, I would suggest that you do not drive that car.
It must be something wrong with that work. In addition also check your front bearing. On the alignment check all (toe in/ camber and caster). try to check if some one hit a curb
or big hole. the hole thing sound weird.

Paul.
