Toyota Repair: will not start, auto repair shop, fuse box

Question
I had a new starter installed six months ago. I had the same auto repair shop replace the battery cables a week ago. After driving for a few days, it will not start. When I attempt to turn the headlights on, all I hear is a buzzing sound from the fuse box (under the hood) and also under the dash (near the floor to the left of the clutch pedal). I don't know what to do.

Answer
It sounds like the alternator is not charging the battery and the battery is going dead, jump start the battery and get the engine started, if the engine keeps running with the jumper battery removed remove the negative terminal on the car's battery if the engine dies you might as well replace the alternator, if the engine keeps running with the battery disconnected I would recommend replacing the battery.
