Toyota Repair: 01 Corolla acceleration hesitation, toyota corolla, throttle plate

Question
My car is a 2001 Toyota Corolla with apporoximately 99,000 miles. I have noticed when I am driving and come to a complete stop, then try to accelerate, it sometimes hesitates before accelerating. But it does not do it all the time. One person noticed that it doesnt do it as bad or not at all when AC is not on. Thanks for any help!

Answer
Some hesitation and even low idle are caused by a contaminated throttle body, it should be cleaned, the intake hose is removed from the t/body and then the throttle plate blocked open so the inside can be cleaned of all the carbon deposits, if there is a check engine light on there may be another cause for this, let me know if the light is on and what trouble codes there may be.
