Toyota Repair: 1995 toyota 4-runner,6cyl,auto, vacuum hoses, intake hoses

The 4-runner, will die,and will not start till you pump the gas, then it will idle rough, for a few minutes It has 123000 miles on it.

Check for an intake system air leak/vacuum leak, it's the most common cause for a rough idle condition, look at the intake hoses from the air cleaner to the throttle body they have a tendency to crack, check all around the intake chamber for any vacuum hoses that may have become disconnected.
