Toyota Repair: engine, 22r engine, intake ports

Question
i got a toyota pickup that was sitting for about 2 years and i have to put an
engine that was a spare in the bed of the truck and i was wondering since the
engine that is in the pickup now is a 22E and the spare is a 22R is there
anything special that i have to do to put the spare engine in?

Answer
The only thing is if you are going to replace the engine with the cylinder head attached is that the intake ports on the 22R engine are smaller so the manifold from the E engine will not work, the 22RE is an EFI engine and the 22R is carbureted so this can create some problems.
