Toyota Repair: 90 4Runner Brake Light, running light, 4runner

Hi Ted, tks for the info on the shifter, will be working on that this weekend....  but now another problem has surfaced. Had a blown left tail light bulb and when i installed the new bulb, the running light is now the brightness as the brake light. And when I apply the brakes, there is no difference in brighness.

Check the bulbs again, I think a bulb got mixed up, there is one socket that has two contacts in it and there are two with only one contact,the same goes for the bulbs, maybe the wrong bulb is installed in one of the sockets or the two contact bulb is not installed correctly, try rotating the bulb 180 degrees in the socket.
