Toyota Repair: tacoma shudder, brake pads and rotors, rear drums

Question
Hi Ted.  I have a 01 Tacoma pre-runner, v6 trd/sr5 2wd.  Drives great except for a shudder when braking from highway speed.  New brake pads and rotors were installed, but the shudder is still there.  Mech said rear brakes look good, but no work was done on them.  Any ideas?

Answer
Possibly the rear drums are out of round, drive it at the speed where the vibration normally happens and then pull up on the emergency brake, if the vibration is felt then the rear drums are the problem and resurfacing them will probably solve the problem.
