Toyota Repair: 98 Toyota Camry will not start, toyota camry, negative cable

Question
I have a 98 Toyota Camry that will not start.  I stop driving it for about 2 months, before I stop driving it, I was able to start it with out any problems.  I got a new battery just before I stop driving it.  Once I tried starting it again, and it would just click and all of the lights inside would go out.  I thought it was the battery.  Since I had a warranty, I went and got a new battery from Sears.  I put it in and it did the same thing.  I'm not sure what it is.  It would crank and start before I let it sit.  Now, it just will not start.  So, what do you think I need to do in order to get it to start?  It has gas in it, I was told it might be the starter or the alternator.  I really need your expert advice.

Answer
There is a bad connection between the battery and the rest of the electrical system, check to make sure the battery terminals are tight and clean, check the connection to the starter and check the negative connection to the body ground and to engine ground, follow the black negative cable to where it's attached, all of these have to be clean, no corrosion, and tight.
