Toyota Repair: blower fan fuse????, side kick panel, 1989 toyota camry

hi ted, have 1989 toyota camry.about a week ago when trying to turn fan switch on for ac,nothing happened;no ac,no heat;nada.
in my frustration i slapped the top of the dashboard with my hand and to my suprise the fan started working again.today ,same problem again,fan does not come on,no ac.slapped on top dash again still no fan,no ac or heat.where is the fan blower fuse located???looked both under the hood and inside drivers side kick panel and no fuse located for blower fan.when the fan is working,i do have ac,heat and defrost.hope you can help ted,this ones got me stumped.

The fuse is not the problem, if it was the fan would never work at all, I think the fan motor needs to be replaced, just in case, check the gauge fuse in the panel inside and reset the circuit breaker located under the left side kick panel, it's mounted on the junction block and has a silver cover on it with a small hole, push a wooden or plastic pointed object into the opening to reset the breaker.
