Question
the car died going down the road at 55mph. I was told the fuel pump I replaced the tank and fuelpump from the local junkyard. I have fuel all the way to the manifold and I have spark at the plugs but I don't here Injectors firing? The plug are dry when I pull them so I think the Injectors are not firing? Please Help, thanks Jerry

Answer
Have the fuses been checked? The EFI fuse under the hood and the ECU B+ fuse in the lower dash, if the fuses are all good then I would check for supply voltage to the injectors with the key on, all injectors should have battery voltage to one side of the connector, the computer provides a ground path to turn nthe injectors on and off, if there is suplly voltage the injectors can be tested while cranking the engiene with a small special test light that is connected directly to the connector, the light should flash when the engine is cranked over, you can get the test light at most autoparts stores.
