How to replace the rear passenger power window motor? No one in town wants to work on this motor replacement. I have priced these at toyota dealership for $400 for the motor!!! I wanted to try to fix it myself.

Toyota did not make a factory convertible, all convertibles were made by an outside company which means that there were some modifications to how the rear windows would operate, these companies were contracted by toyota to make these modifications, unfortunately even the toyota dealers are reluctant to repair rear power window motors on convertibles. We used to send them back to the installer for repairs, you may be able to do this yourself by starting to remove parts starting with the inner panel then the regulator and motor, I have never attempted this so I don't have much advice, the repair manual does not give actual instruction on how to replace the motor.
