Toyota Repair: 86 Corrolla AM2 fuse and starting problems, fuse blows, haynes manual

Question
QUESTION: 86 Corrolla 1163000 mileage 5 spd 4-cyl front wheel drive   Two problems. First- AM2 fuse keeps blowing. Have traced wires can't find any visible problems. Second- No spark at spark plugs. Have good battery connection, all fuses good inc. AM2 fuse, dist. cap, rotor, wires are all good. Have all fluids and gas. Tried priming carb, still not firing.
ANSWER: Could this be a mistake, are you sure it is a 1986 corolla, I don't remember this model using an AM2 fuse, they used fusible link wire off the positive side of the battery.

QUESTION: What about my starting problem? As to the AM2 fuse- this is not a mistake! I have fuse boxes on the positive battery cable with 4 fuses [3 fuses in one box and 1 fuse in a box next to them] connected at the top of the cable next to the post. I have a Haynes manual and the only thing I can find on them is pictures when it shows the battery, and on one page of the wiring diagrams. There is no mention of them anywhere in the manual.

Answer
I don't have a wiring diagram available for an 1986 Corolla but the AM2 fuse connects directly to the B+ voltage from the battery and then powers the ignition circuit, is this fuse still blowing at this time or does it stay intact and the engine just won't run? If the fuse blows does it do so while cranking the engine or by turning the key on or even with the key off?
