Toyota Repair: Instrument Lights, control knobs, toyota camry

Question
Toyota Camry 1996. My instrument lights do not work. To be more specific, the dash with switches for heat and air flows are completely dark. I do not know how to get there to change the lamp (if that’s the problem) since there is no way to open that part of the dash. I wondered that maybe fuse is the problem, but the only fuse box that I found was inside, on the driver side, and got nothing to do with the main problem area. How can I fix it myself? Please help.

Answer
If the illumination on the speedometer and gauges works then it;s not the fuse, if only the heater control panel is dark it's the bulb behind the panel, to replace the bulb remove the control knobs by pulling them off, the front panel can be pulled off using a small screwdriver, pry it off on the right side then remove the clear diffuser panel and twist and pull the small bulb out.
