Toyota Repair: Toyota Corolla 1.8 2002 auto transmission, electric solenoid, toyota corolla

I have replaced an auto transmission for my 2002 1.8 corolla. But theres a problem, while shifting from 3rd to 4rth gear it takes race for some time and then the 4rth gear is engaged. Some one told me that the valve body censor is not working. Can u help me.

If it was an electric solenoid problem the check engine light should be on to indicate a control problem, if the check engine light never comes on it is an hydraulic problem and the transmission may be defective, in either case you should contact the place where the replacement transmission was bought and  explain the problem to them, there should be some sort of warranty or guarantee.
