Toyota Repair: Camry, spring compressor tool, wheel bearings

Question
I have a 1997 v6 Toyota Camry and the strut mounts need to be replaced.  Is this a relatively easy job?  Any special tools needed to do the bearings?

Answer
Not exactly easy, a spring compressor tool is needed to compress the springs to get the struts out after they have been removed from the car, there is no need to do anything to the wheel bearings, the struts unbolt on the bottom where they attach to the steering spindle and on the top with three 14mm size nuts, once the struts are out they need to be disassembled to replace the upper mounts which requires the spring compressor, you can have this done at most auto parts stores that have the compressor, the springs are under a tremendous amount of pressure when compressed and very dangerous in that state so it's important the correct tools are used and used correctly to avoid personal injury.
