Toyota Repair: Brakes, brakes and rotors, independent shop

Question
I just had front brakes and rotors put on. Both half-shafts on both sides replaced.  I get in my car this morning, start to drive.  I notice the brake light go on, and the pedal has to go all the way to the floor to stop, even then barely stops.  I had this done at an independent dealer.  What should I do.  The day after the brakes were done, my car wouldn't start, took it back and to to replace the fuel pump, now this.

Answer
I think that you need to return to the place that did the brake work, they obviously did something wrong to make the car act like this, they are obligated to check it and correct the problem at no charge if they caused it. If you don't want to go back there have the toyota dealer check it and make a recommendation and if the problem was caused by the other repair shop contact them and give them the opportunity to make it right, if they won't, have it fixed at the dealer and then approach the independent shop for a refund of the original charge but you must be able to prove that it was their fault, as a last resort you can take the other shop to court and try to recover the money they charged you for the repair.
