Toyota Repair: 1990 toyota pickup clutch problems, clutch assembly, clutch problems

i was driving along i smelled something funny,i went to shift gears and the truck wouldnt move. i checked under the hood to find out that some of my wires were burning from a short.the clutch pedal is spongy,and when i shift gears, theslave cylinder is moving in and out of the transmission but it is not engagingso the truck wont move. the fire burnt a few of the vacumm lines and a couple of the electrical connections all on the battery side of the truck. there is also fluid in the master cylinder for the clutch. please all help would be appreciated. thank you

It sounds as though your clutch was slipping for a long time and got hot enough to cause damage.  There is no cheap fix for your truck. You are going to have to have the clutch assembly replaced and resurface the flywheel. After that you can assess any other damage caused.
