Toyota Repair: 91 Toyato Tercel, fuse blows, tercel

Question
When I turn the key on, the AM2 fuse blows, I realize it has to do with the firing system. I was wondering what steps I would take in trouble shooting the problem.(The engine turns over, no spark).

Answer
The AM2 fuse supplies 12 volts to the ignition switch, when the switch is closed current flows through the red/black wire to the coil and the igniter, try disconnecting them one at a time to see which causes the fuse to blow, if the fuse still blows with both disconnected then there is a wiring problem.
