Toyota Repair: Storaged Vehicle, celica gts, long term storage

Question
I have a 1991 Celica GTS which has been stored in a garage for 14 months due to military service. It has less than 20,000 original miles.  What should I have my mechanic do to get this vehicle road worthy.  Aside from replacing all the fluids, what should be checked and what are the potential problems of long term storage?  Also, how should a vehicle be stored properly, if needed?
Thank you for your help.

Answer
If there was any gas in the tank I would recommend draining it and replacing it with fresh fuel, after 14 months gas will deteriorate and may be incombustible to the point that it may cause difficult starting and driveability problems, replace the fuel filter also and pour in a can of fuel treatment to remove any moisture that may be in the tank.
