Toyota RAV4 66,000 mi. 2002 Yr. Codes PO 420, PO 430
My Toyota check engine light keeps coming on with the above codes. Its getting too costly for me to take it in every time. Also it does not pass emission test for this state,now in Id.
Any way I can turn this out and have it pass. There is nothing wrong with the car, jut this light coming on 3x now since buying it. Thanks!

Hi JL, You didn't mention that what tests do u perform and which parts you replaced? When you go to a workshop. As you might already know these codes says that the catalyst system efficiecy is below threshold. Did you replaced any the of the O2 sensors? Check all the sensors connected with catalyst system. If these sensors previously replaced. Did you replaced with exact type? because if you replace a sensor not matching with the previous one. It can also create problems like you mentioned.
