Toyota Repair: 93 Camry 4 cyl 5S -Cranks but wont start, haynes manual, cam timing

Question
While driving the other day the car just died. Cranks but will not start. In Spring I replaced the fuel pump and fuel filter...also the coil. Today I replaced the whole distributor (with coil). Still nothing. Haynes manual does not have a method to check the Igniter. Any suggestions please? I have also checked voltage and resistance on the fuel relay, and MAP Sensor. All OK. 107,000 miles 'new'...

Answer
If it sparks, the ignition system is working LoL! Take a plug out & ground it & watch it spark, or hold a lead real close to a ground point. Or by a little tester that does that for you.

It takes fuel + spark + compression & all at the same time for it to run.

Check the cam timing too. You may have snapped a very old timing belt.
