Toyota Repair: Engine stopped running, toyota sienna, oil light

Toyota Sienna 2000 XLE Engine Oil light flickered and stayed on.  Engine Stopped and coasted till stopped on side of expressway.  Heard clacking and rattling 3 - 5 miles prior to engine stopping.  Noticed oil leak under oil pan.

Kiss your engine goodbye as it has gone to a better place. I would check for Toyota TSB's on engine sludge. I believe this was one of the engines they had trouble with so if you beg and plead they might pay for half or cover it under warranty. But be sure you have all your records to show you have maintained the vehicle since you owned it.
