Toyota Repair: 2001 camry i4 cel p0446, vacuum hoses, emission control system

Question
My CEL is on.  I have a code P0446 and a code P0300 pending.  My local dealer wants over $200 to diagnose it.  Car seems to run fine.  Thanks for your help.

1) P0446 : Evaporative Emission control system Vent control circuit
Look for a dead EVAP VSV, or split / cracked / leaking vacuum hoses that operate the EVAP system.
2) P0300  Random/Multiple Cylinder Misfire Detected
You probably need new spark plugs, and check the wiring for splits.


ONLY use Denso, or NGK ignition components. Anything else will run like ass on your Densp (Toyota) Ignition system.
