-----Question-----
Hi my question is : are there any relays/switches that would cause a low voltage situation at the uel pump? This is for a 88 Cressida. also for some reason the fuel pump also went out at about the same time. It has since been changed and tested..by applying outside power supply (12+).  So now I am trying to see if there is a particular reason it would only read a little over 6 volts at the lead going into the fuel pump. Aside from a short of some sort.  I checked the chiltons manual it only shows one 12+ wire going to the fuel pump but it looks like 4 wires (all blue) going to a common point then going to the fuel pump.  any assistance would be great. thanks

Some Toyota systems use multiple staged fuel pumps, tho off-hand I do not think the 5m-ge uses such a pump. Check the voltage at & after the relay block that turns the fuel pump circuit on.
Then trace the voltage backwards from there.

Answer
Not really. Can't even recall working on a Cressida for that matter. Tho it's just the m-ge i6's out of the Supra & you can do 7m-gte, or 1jz-gte/ijz-gtte swaps if you want 400+ horsepower out of them.

That's about my only knowledge of them, sorry! :'(
