Toyota Repair: 1999 Toyota Corolla driver door handle, haynes manuals, toyota corolla

I saw your previous answer to this question.  My daughter's 1999 Corolla has the handle that is loose and looks about to break.  Is this repair something that a nonmechanically inclined person can do with help from a repair manual?  If so, which manual would you recommend?  Thanks.

If you can pull the door trim & interior apart, then yes. You can do it!

Is Toyota/Lexus/Scion's refferance material. Costs like $10 a day to download whatever information any dealer has on hand.
Haynes manuals are OK too, but don't always go over things like that.
