Toyota Repair: 91 4runner no power, knock sensor, excess fuel

Question
I have 91 4runner 3.0 I was driving one day and all at once no power felt like clogged converter. I changed converter and o2 sensor got rid of code 21 but still no power. getting code 52 no signal from knock sensor. Would that cause no power? If I tweek the timing i can get a little power not much. Is their anyway to test knock sensor without pulling intake?
Thanks for the help!!!

Answer
DO NOT play with your timing.
That piece of shit will roast the #6 exhaust valve, warp a head & blow the heagasket quicker than you can think about playing with the dizzy.
Without the knock sensor signal, the computer runs in limp-mode locked in base timine & dumps in fuel. The lack of timing destroys the responciveness of the engine, the excess fuel destroys the little power output it has to begin with.

Replace the knock sensor & the wiring to it. The majority of the time, the wiring is faulty!
The only way you can test it without pulling off the upper & lower intake manifolds would be splice into the line (Not good as it's shielded from EMI after afew feet), or pull the stock ECU out to gain access to the opposite end of the harness.
