Toyota Repair: My Car just wouldnt start, civic hatch, alternator output

Question
Hi, I was wondering if you could help me with this. I've actually got around to changing the starter, turns out it's old and still the car wouldn't start on me. I've got around to clutch starting it, worked fine, but actually turning it on...it won't. Also the car was driving fine before hand, but all of a sudden I took a stop for gas @chevron and the car just suddenly wouldn't start. Any Ideas? thanks

P.S: It's an 89' civic hatch DX 4 speed 1.4 cyl and has around 267,XXX miles on it.

Answer
Replace the battery & clean off the temrinals. Then drive somehwere & have the alternator output tested to be sure it's charging your new battery. (A parts store for instance.)

Cold weather causes poor batterys to suddenly tank, and tire pressures to drop like a rock.
