Toyota Repair: how to remove the ignition lock cylinder on 1998 toyota sienna, release pin, lock cylinder

My key will turn to the acc position but no further. I need to know how to replace the lock cylinder.

Answer
There is a release pin on the lock housing that must be depressed to get the cylinder out, remove the plastic covers around the lock to get to the pin, it's easier if you have the new lock so you can locate the pin, in the acc mode press the pin in to release the cylinder.
